1. Guide to selecting a compressed gas dryer
To select a dryer correctly, it is necessary to take into account the actual flow rate of the compressed gas,pressure,temperature as well as the ambient temperature and the required pressure dew point temperature. The drying capacityQs=Qa*C1*C2of the dryer, in the formulaQais the actual flow rate of the compressed gas.
Example:
The air pressure at the inlet of the cold dryer is0.7Mpa,the air inlet temperature is40℃,the ambient temperature is 40℃,the actual flow rate of compressed airQa is10m3/min,the required pressure dew point is+2℃,then: the processing capacity of the cold dryerQs=Qa*C1*C2,check Table 1、Table 2.C1=0.80,C2=1.22,getQs=9.76,theXS-10A specification is more appropriate.

2. Pressure dew point and moisture content
l The air outlet pressure dew point of the cold dryer is0.7 Mpaat2~10℃, which is equivalent to the atmospheric pressure dew point of -23~-16℃, and the moisture content is about 0.82~1.48g/m3.
l When the intake temperature is40℃, the air temperature at the outlet of the cold dryer is about 22-26℃, which is equivalent to the relative humidity of air at 20℃ atmospheric pressure being 4-7%.
